Twilight by Stephenie Meyer

Twilight

Series : 1st book in the Twilight saga

Genre : Juvenile Fiction

Overview :

Deeply sensuous and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.Isabella Swan’s move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella’s life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife-between desire and danger.

New year = new book, new genre. So what if it’s juvenile fiction, it’s got vampires. My interest is piqued regardless of the movie (which I have seen but will not be commenting on in this blog)

Will have some notes on chapter 1 as and when. Presuming I can force myself to stop reading the same paragraph over and over and…can focus, will focus!

  1. seems likely that they will come out with a Twilight sequel pretty soon, there’s a crazy lot of ticket sales at stake

    • I’m glad someone else paid for me to see Twilight. Although it wasn’t much of treat, I did enjoy the popcorn. But then I always appreciate popcorn. Thanks for commenting. Didn’t think anyone was reading ’till I took note of my site activity.
