Autumn Leaves, Original Pieces in Prose and Verse by Various, Anne Wales Abbott ed.

The pieces gathered into this volume were, with two exceptions, written for the entertainment of a private circle, without any view to publication. The editor would express her thanks to the writers, who, at her solicitation, have allowed them to be printed. They are published with the hope of aiding a work of charity,—the establishment of an Agency for the benefit of the poor in Cambridge,—to which the proceeds of the sale will be devoted. Short Poetry Collection 080

The “LibriVox Short Poetry Collection 80″, is an open collection of poems for the month of June 2009.
The two recordings I contributed to this collection are Azure and Gold, and Corporal Stare.
It took a long time to find two poems that hadn’t been recorded before for the LibriVox project. My knowledge of poetry & their writers is somewhat limited and rather inadequate.
The journey was a fun one though and I learned about copyrighting, poems about war and that the amount of poetry I’ve read so far is truly the tip of the iceberg.
